Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary hands out five scholarships to area students PDF Print E-mail

The Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary is pleased to announce its 2011 scholarship recipients to include two freshmen Erin Managin and Courtney Schultz, second-year student Catherin Mayer, third-year Kelly Winkel and fourth-year student Christina McGinnis.

Managin is the daughter of Daniel and Donna Mangin, Brillion, and will attend UW- Stevens Point to pursue a career in dietetics.

Schultz is the daughter of Judy and the late Dr. William Schultz, New Holstein, and will attend St. Norbert College to pursue a nursing degree.

Mayer is the daughter of Greg and Ann Mayer, Neenah, and is attending Marquette University where she is a pre-medicine major with aspirations to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Winkel, is the daughter of David and Sharon Winkel, Kiel, and is attending UW-Madison for physical therapy.

McGinnis is married to David McGinnis and is the daughter of Tim and Gerry Van Oss of Chilton and is studying dental hygiene.

The Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary donates up to five scholarships annually through monies derived from their Remembrance Fund. Donations to the Remembrance Fund are in honor of a living or deceased loved one and scholarship amounts vary annually based upon monies available. The CMC Auxiliary was pleased to donate $2,000 in scholarships for 2011.
