| Nominations now open for Chilton Citizen of the Year |

Nominations are being accepted for Chilton’s Distinguished Citizen of the Year. The Chilton Chamber of Commerce will honor the recipient at the Chilton Eagles Club on Wednesday, March 31st. A social will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM, with the award presentation and program to follow at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $7.00 per person and will be available after February 1st at Vern’s Cheese, Curves, M&I Bank, State Bank, Community Bank and Trust, Great Midwest Bank, or Premier Financial. Nominations should be sent to the Chilton Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 351, Chilton, WI 53014. The nominations should include the individuals’ current resume, list of accomplishments and special reason why this person should be considered. Nominations must be in writing. Deadline is Friday, February 19, 2010. Resumes submitted in prior years must be updated and resubmitted. The achievements of the individual being nominated must have benefited the citizens of the Chilton area, should focus on volunteer related items rather than be job related, and the nominee must live or work in the Chilton area. The winner will be selected by a committee of chamber members from submitted resumes prior to the March 3rd monthly chamber meeting at which time the Chamber board will hear the recommendation from the committee.
