Henna tattooing is returning to the library on July 28 with henna expert Amy Wilde. Learn how to use henna to draw temporary designs on the skin. This program is for older kids and adults and is on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8.
Teens are also invited to join the library's Battle of the Books team. This fun competition between libraries is based on questions from eight selected books. Battle of the Books takes place in September in Manitowoc. Painting with Kelly will also be 1 p.m. on July 28. Create your own masterpiece. Sign up is required in order to have adequate supplies. The next two adult computer workshops are on Job Searching On-line and using the software Learning Express. Learning Express is a program available through the library that offers practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses and computer software self-paced programs. The workshops are on July 28 and Aug 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Arps Meeting Room. And for Kids of all ages Summer Reading continues with great programs and activities. The NEW Zoo from Green Bay will be at the library 1 p.m. on July 27 with a presentation on zoo animals and how they live in the wild. Every week the library has Storytime, Friday crafts and other activities.
