It will be "Christmas in July" when the Chilton City Band returns to the stage for the 7th concert of the 2010 "Summer in the Park" concert series on Thursday, July 22.
Held in Hobart Park in the Arnold and Helen Rusch Musical Complex, the concert will start at 7 p.m. An anonymous but reliable source has reported that a famous guest will be making a special appearance that evening, so all Christmas lovers are encouraged to attend this annual performance! Musical arrangements for this concert will feature many of your holiday favorites. Concert attendees will enjoy several selections from the following: Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth, Away in the Manger, Christmas Stomp, Bells and Bobtails, Yuletide Sketches, Western Christmas, The Bells of Christmas, Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer, Let It Snow, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, White Christmas, Holly Jolly Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Happy Holidays, Sleighs A Comin'. Door prizes donated by area merchants will be given out between musical selections. Concessions will be sold before, during and after the concert by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Two winners of the 50/50 raffle ticket sales are named each evening. |
