CHILTON - Several area businesses have signed on to Paint the City Purple from August 1-15. It's all being done to raise awareness of the American Cancer Society's continuing fight against cancer.
Participating businesses, including State Bank of Chilton, Fox Valley Technical College, and Kaytee Products, invite and encourage all Calumet County area businesses and homeowners to help Paint the City Purple. Purple ribbons will be displayed on the main thoroughfare in Chilton and New Holstein as well. The Relay for Life of Calumet County event will be held on August 20 at the New Holstein Middle/High School track. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. Anyone interested in learning more about this colorful event is asked to contact Kay Schmitz at 920-753-1027. |
