Calumet County residents are invited to review and comment on the draft Calumet County Land and Water Resource Management Plan, 2012-16. The Plan was developed over the past year with input from residents and local, state and federal resource professionals.
It describes land and water resource conditions within the county, identifies resource concerns, and outlines strategies to address the concerns. The Plan will serve as a guiding document on how government and residents will work together during the next five years to improve natural resources in Calumet County. The draft plan can be viewed at co-calumet.wi.us/uploads/document/_LWRMP_Draft_12_29. The Plan is also available for viewing at the Land and Water Conservation Department in Room 232 of the Courthouse in Chilton and at Calumet County public libraries. Copies may be purchased for a nominal fee.
