The Chilton City Band takes the stage for the fourth concert of the 2009 "Summer in the Park" concert series on Thursday, July 2nd in Hobart Park in the Arnold and Helen Rusch Musical Complex at 7:00 p.m. As a tribute to the Fourth of July, the band will end the concert with several patriotic selections. Musical arrangements for this concert include: the Star Spangled Banner, Charter Oak, EI Capitan, Magnolia, the Hoop Dee Doo Polka, All Glory Told, Build Me Up Buttercup, Rhumba-Numbah, Send in the Clowns, West Side Story, I'm Popeye The Sailor Man, Our GloriOUS Land, American Patrol, Flashing Sabres, Grand Old Flag, American Heroes, Salute to Freedom, and the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Door prizes donated by area merchants will be given out between musical selections. Concessions will be sold before, during, and after the concert by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Two winners of the SO/50 raffle ticket sales are named each evening. Watch for the Chilton City Band when they march in the Hilbert Parade on July 4th at 11:00 a.m. and again on July 5th in Elkhart Lake at 11:30 a.m. On Thursday. July 9th the Chilton City Band will once again take the stage for their popular Children's Concert. see you "in the Park"! |
