The Friends of St. Patrick, Inc. is pleased to announce their upcoming summer concert on Friday, July 10 at the St. Patrick Historical Building in Maple Grove, WI (Corner of Taus Rd. and County Rd. G northeast of Reedsville) at 7:00 P.M. The concert will feature Druid’s Table, a musical group who have been organized since 1999, performing Celtic folk music including jigs, reels, ballads, hornpipes airs and Irish polkas. Druid's music is mostly instrumental and includes music from a range of Celtic traditions. Most recently Terry Dawson joined the group expanding the musical repertoire to include vocal renderings of those lovely Celtic ballads and pub songs. Instrumentation includes harp, accordion, pelmy whistle, guitar, fiddle, bodllran, concerina, flute , and spoons. The band' s first CD “An Irish Celebration” was recorded in 2000. Their second “Cletic Heat”, was release in 2003. Band members are: Tickets for this concert are $10 in advance, or $12 at the door the night of the concert. Children will be admitted for $4, and those under five years old are free.
