CONTEST AND COMPETITION ALWAYS A FAIR TIME FAVORITE!

Catch A Pig, Bucket Brigade, Ag Olympics!
You can join the Fun!
Traditional competition at the fair among youth and adults entering in various forms such as livestock, cooking, sewing, photography, woodworking, cultural arts, gardening, etc. Unique contest and competitions that have been added to the fair's lineup offer something for everyone. Back by popular demand for the third year is the Catch-A-Pig Contest, on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 4:00PM in the Grandstand. Mud, water, a pig and a quest, mix together for an afternoon of fun for the competitors as well as the audience. Four divisions are offered for adults and youth. Trophies, cash and bragging rights are at stack. Get your team of three entered space is limited for the Catch-A-Pig Contest.

Back for a second year is the Bucket Brigade, teams of five compete to fill a 55 gallon barrel on a scaffold in this timed event. Area Fire Departments are challenged to join this event. Anyone wanting to see if they got what it takes to meet up with the best is encouraged to join the challenge. You don't have to be a Fire Fighter to be in this Bucket Brigade. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 5:00PM.

Ag Olympics is back for the attack, designed for the youth but fun for the Alumni's as well. Hay stacking, throwing, watering challenges and who knows what surprises and new events are in store for this crowd pleaser. Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10:30AM in the Harder-Goeldi Buiding.

Car Show Scheduled for Labor Day at the Calumet County Fair!
Better than ever, the Car Show at the Calumet County Fair on Monday, September 6, 2010 10:00AM - 3:30PM is going to "Rock and ROLL". It will take place in the park, weather permitting, participants are encouraged to use the Chestnut Street entrance for easy access, registration starts at 9:00AM, $5.00 registration with Trophy's and Cash Drawings for car show participants judging starts at noon. The local favorite COUNTY B BASEMENTS BOYS will be in the park for your "Rock and ROLL" car show enjoyment. Car show sponsored by the Calumet County Fair, WWWSM Car Club, Polly's Farm Market, The Insurance Shoppe and the City of Chilton. PRICES ARE FALLING AT THE CALUMET COUNTY FAIR!
Yes! You read that right! All Grand Stand Shows for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Calumet County Fair have been set at $2.00 for all ages. This includes the Wisconsin Garden Tractor Pull, Catch-A-Pig Contest, and Tractor Pull. Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 4:00-5:00PM bring a non-perishable food item for the Calumet County Salvation Army and admission is FREE to the grounds. Children under 8 receive FREE admission to the grounds all four days. It doesn't get better than that! See you at the fair for "Fun for the Whole Herd"!
