A 60-year-old Sherwood man is dead following a crash in the Town of Harrison on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Michael J. Baker of Robinhood Way in Sherwood.

According to the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a crash at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on Hwy. 114 at Firelane #13.

Deputies found a pickup truck that had lost control while traveling westbound. The truck lost control on the slippery road, entered a ditch and struck a tree, the department reported.

The man was the only person in the truck and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Harrison Fire Department and Harrison First responders assisted the sheriff’s department at the scene.
