Four women from the Fox Valley have been charged with false imprisonment after they allegedly tied-up and assaulted a man who is believed to have been in a relationship with each of them.
The victim was met by police officers at the Lake View Motel in Stockbridge last week after four women, 48-year-old Therese A. Ziemann of Menasha; 43-year-old Michelle Belliveau of Neenah; 43-year-old Wendy L. Sewell of Kaukauna and the victim’s wife, confronted the man for his alleged infidelity.
According to the criminal complaint, Ziemann tied the victim’s hands and feet with sheets and blindfolded him with a pillowcase after convincing the victim that she wanted to tie him up and give him a massage.
The complaint states that Ziemann then sent a text message to the other girls saying, “he’s tied up,” and the women confronted him inside the hotel room.
Ziemann allegedly punched the victim and used Krazy Glue to glue his genitals to parts of his body.
Because of these allegations, Ziemann is also charged with battery and fourth-degree sexual assault.
The other three women are charged with false imprisonment, which carries a maximum penalty of six years in prison.
Ziemann spoke with investigators and said she met the victim on the Web site Craigslist.org and ultimately fell in love with him. She rented a motel room for him for two months and gave him approximately $3,000, which the victim stated he would pay back to her.
On July 29, the victim’s wife contacted Ziemann and told Ziemann about the victim’s criminal background, the fact that he was married with children and that he was seeing other women and using them for money.
The criminal complaint said that Sewall confirmed the information and the three planned to confront him at the hotel. Belliveau arrived at the hotel later and said the three women were already in the room, the complaint said. During the attack, the victim said Ziemann held a silver handgun to his head and genitals, however Ziemann denied having a gun, according to the criminal complaint.
When the victim began to try to free himself, the women fled. The victim’s cell phone and vehicle were taken.
