Obituary: Anna M. Schulz PDF Print E-mail

Anna M. Schulz, age 78 of Menasha, formerly of the Township of Morris, Shawano County, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at Prairie Homes in Menasha.

Anna was born on January 10, 1932 in Cleveland, ND the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Bohlig) Kratzke. She was baptized on March 27, 1932 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND and confirmed on May 20, 1945 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. In 1950, Anna graduated from Clintonville High School and continued her education at Milwaukee Technical Institute School of Practical Nursing, graduating in 1951. On June 4, 1955, Anna married Gerald L. Schulz at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. The couple lived a short time in Neenah until they moved to Chilton. In 1980, they moved to the Township of Morris where they lived the rest of their married life. Mr. Schulz preceded his wife in death on February 5, 2003. Anna served as a Practical Nurse at Calumet Memorial Hospital and then at the Homme Home for the Aging in Wittenberg. Her hobbies included swimming, handicraft, working in her garden, horseback riding, hunting and fishing. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Tigerton where she was active in the LWML and the Altar Guild.

Dennis (Tina) Schulz, Appleton
Her grandchildren: Melissa Crabb (‘nee Bergin), Adam (Holly) Bergin, Justin, Jessica, John, Stephanie, Kayla, Kyle, Taylor, Amber & Tyler Schulz
Her great-grandchildren: Alana, Coleton, Zachary & Wesley
Her Sister: Louise Ellefsen, Clintonville
Her brother: Wilbern (Phyllis) Kratzke, Tigerton
Many special friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald and a sister in infancy.

Memorial services will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the St. John Lutheran Church, Tigerton with the Rev. Matthew J. Uttenreither officiating.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
