Robert M. “Bob” Keuler, age 80, of Chilton died on Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born March 12, 1929 in Chilton, son of the late Arthur & Agatha (Wilberscheid) Keuler. He married Laura Baltz on June 16, 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chilton. Bob worked with his father at the Standard Station located on the corner of Main & Madison St. in Chilton. He later worked for over 25 years at the Malt House in Chilton until retiring at the age of 65. Bob was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and served on the Chilton City Council. He was a private person who enjoyed to hunt and fish; but he most loved being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially watching them participate in their respective sports. Survivors include his wife: Laura; 11 children: Mary Kay (Dennis) Hein of Hilbert, Rick (Therese) Keuler of Hilbert, Dan Keuler of Texas, Lisa Perez of Brillion, Kevin (Cheryl) Keuler of Minneapolis, Joe (Roxane) Keuler of Chilton, Willie (Michele) Keuler of Madison, Patrick Keuler of Chilton, Tim (Sheila) Keuler of Hilbert, Jenny (Don) Dorn of Chilton, Nicki (Tim) Mathes of Brillion; 29 grandchildren: Jenifer, Shannon, Josh, Justin, Emily, Angela, Marleah, Hanson, Grant, Beau, Melissa, Eli, Kayla, Summer, Aaron, Cassie, Katie, Kallie, Bailey, Alina, Abby, Alex, Ashley, Austin, Ayden, Dana, Bethany, Samuel, Lauren; 10 great-grandchildren: Alec, Emma, Evan, Ava, Brady, Kyle, Paige, Brody, Max, Logan; a brother: Don Keuler of Alaska; 3 sisters-in-law: Virginia Nelson of DePere, Katie Baltz of Fond du Lac, Bev Baltz of Stockbridge; a brother-in-law: Delton Baltz of Fond du Lac; and Bob’s beloved canine, Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Sandra Keuler; a grandchild: Peter Dorn; 2 brothers: James & Arthur “Gunner” Keuler; and 2 brothers-in-law: Milo & Don Baltz. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Memorials are appreciated in the name of Robert M.
