She was born March 26, 1923 in Hilbert, daughter of the late Fred & Susan (Lauer) Weber. She married Robert Bowe on November 27, 1941 and the couple farmed together in Town of Stockbridge. Robert preceded her in death on August 26, 1973. Arlyne also offered house cleaning services and worked for Chilton Metal Products until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert where she also volunteered countless hours for both the church and the school. She was a former member of the Stockbridge Christian Women, and belonged to several card clubs in the area. In her free time, Arlyne enjoyed crocheting and made many beautiful articles. Survivors include her children: James (Janelle) Bowe of Waldo, Diane (Ralph) Blatz of Chilton, Dennis (Carol) Bowe of Hilbert, Steve (Cindy) Bowe of Hilbert; 14 grandchildren: Heidi (Noah) Kroll, Robert Bowe, Kelly (Anders) Graff, Brian (Kelly) Blatz, Brenda (Dan) Brooks, Bobbi Jo (Alan) Mueller, Becky (Stuart) Anhalt, Brooke Blatz, Pam (Jesse) Riesterer, Craig (Mariann) Bowe, Corey Bowe and his special friend, Kori Collier, Heather Bowe and her fiancé Luke Wittnebel, Steve Bowe, and Tiffany Bowe; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandchild; a brother-in-law: Tom (Lorraine) Bowe, Jr.; and 3 sisters-in-law: Marian Zacharenka, Doris Kolbrzycki, and Dorothy Bowe. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; an infant son: Robert Bowe, Jr.; a brother: Hillard (Lorraine) Weber; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Al Zacharenka, Ralph (Florence) Heimerl, Norman (Genevieve) Bowe, Donald Bowe, Ed Kolbrzycki, and Arlene Gerner. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church (108 S. 6th St.) in Hilbert with the Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 AM until 1:45 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
