Chilton Middle School awarded eight students for Student of the Month for December.
Dylan Kratz is the 14-year-old son of Sue and Harry Kratz. Dylan’s siblings include Justin, T.J., Scott, Jacob, Billy Dominic, Steve, Jess, Adam, Kevin, Ty, Suzy, Erik, Kristyne, Helen, Michelle and Grace. Dylan works on farms and has many pets, including: cats, dogs, llamas, goats, pigs, cows, donkeys, ponies, chickens, ducks and horses. He is involved in track, football and soccer. In the future, Dylan hopes to be a diesel mechanic or semi-truck driver. Becca Schwarz, 13, is the daughter of Jeff and Sandy and has a sister named Jessica. Becca plays basketball and is in cross cross country as well as the band. She enjoys reading, baking, fishing and hunting. Becca has a dog named Sadie and a cat named Puff. Becca hopes to become a police officer or crime scene detective in the future. Danielle Schmitz, 13, is the daughter of Kevin and Julie Schmitz. She plays clarinet in band and likes to read. She also plays softball. Danielle has an older sister, Tami and a younger sister Andrea, as well as a dog named Chance and a fish called Prince Charming. Danielle hopes to become a veterinarian when she is older. Austin Criter, 12, is the son of Dan and Audrey Criter and has an older brother, Kevin. Austin enjoys all sports, including basketball, baseball, football, soccer and bowling. He also likes to play hockey, collect sports cards and play video games. Austin is in the band and enjoys participating in the middle school musicals. In the future, Austin hopes to be a professional athlete or become a chef. Sydney Hephner is the 12-year-old daughter of Tim and Linda, and the sister of Kalin, Kelsey and Austin. The family has a dog named Allie. Sydney enjoys sports and reading, and hopes to become a lawyer. Levi Taylor, 11, is the son of Theron and Lisa, and the brother to Mason, Jared and Cassidy. The family has a dog named Tanner and two cats. Levi was in the musical, “Annie, Jr.” and enjoys working with small engines. Levi hopes to be a mechanic or a chiropractor. Alexis Marx, 10, is the daughter of Kevin and Sandy Marx. She has a brother Brandon and three sisters named Autumn, Addison and Ashley. The family has a dog named Boomer and a cat named Snickers. Alexis participates in the Hershey Track and Field meet and enjoys writing stories and watching movies. She hopes to be a computer engineer. Brandon Biese, 10, is the son of Ron and Kay Biese and the brother of Brooklyn, Taylor and Blake. The family has several pets including a rabbit, cats, a gerbil and calves. Brandon is active in 4H, volleyball, soccer, track and student council. He enjoys swimming, eating and drawing, as well as playing Wii and watching TV and using the computer. Brandon hopes to become an engineer who designs new farm equipment or a large-animal veterinarian.
