The Auxiliary for Calumet Medical Center is once again offering a scholarship to persons who are pursuing a career in the medical profession. Scholarships are available to 2010 high school graduation graduates, as well as college students who have chosen medical careers. Persons who reside in the Calumet Medical Center service area are eligible to receive the scholarships. They must show a sincere desire to work in the medical setting and have demonstrated academic success. Monies for these scholarships are made available from the Remembrance and General Funds of the Auxiliary. Remembrance funds are received in the form of memorial donations. Deadline for applications for the scholarship is April 15,2010. The winners are chosen by May 15,2010.
