The Brillion FFA Market Plan team captured first place at the recent Wisconsin FFA State Convention held in Madison.  Team members were Erica Lamers, Blake Broehm and  Val Moss.
The topic of the team’s plan was marketing hard, aged goat cheese.  The group conducted computer research, did hours of interviews, wrote an eight page plan and then made a 15 minute multi media presentation to a panel of judges.
Erica Lamers was excited about the results, “It is a real world situation.  I have dairy goats and this is something we have been thinking about for our farm.”  All Blake Broehm could say was “We’re going to Nationals.”
The team now competes at the National FFA Contests held in Indianapolis in October.
