| Brillion Boys get Convincing Win Over Chilton |

The Brillion Lions basketball team used a balanced team effort to get a convincing win over the Chilton Tigers on Thursday December 10th by a score of 76-41. The Lions dominated this contest from the beginning using an aggressive defense to create scoring opportunities, and outscore the Tigers in every quarter of the game. Chilton's Lucas Hemauer led all-scorers with 18 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Other stat leaders for the Tigers were: Stuart Degeneffe with 11 points, seven rebounds, and Tyler Diedrick and Charles Ruffing with three points each. Brillion's leading scorer on the evening was Jacob Hebbard with 14. Other stat leader for the Lions were: Ryan Reinke with 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals, Trevor Krizenesky with 10 points, three rebounds, Adam Schmitt with eight points, four rebounds, Blake Klessig with six points, six rebounds, and Brian Krueger with six points, and five rebounds. The Lions also won their game earlier in the week, as they beat Wrightstown by a score of 60-44. The score of the game was tied at the halftime break 32-32, but picked up their intensity in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 17-2 in the final stanza of the game, eight points of which came from Trevor Krizenesky, to run away with the victory. Leading scorers for the Lions in this match up were: Schmitt with 17 points, Krizenesky with 12, Will Jensen with nine, Krueger with seven, Hebbard with six, Klessig with five, and Eric Kittel with 4. Brillion is slated to host a double header with the girls team on Tuesday December 15th, followed by a game against Manitowoc Lutheran on Friday December 18th away. |
