In the match up, which took place in Sheboygan, the Sheboygan Lutheran Crusaders used a stifling three-quarter court press as they bolted out to a 32-9 halftime lead, over Stockbridge, which is the Central Lakeshore Conference's last place team.
Sheboygan Lutheran ended up winning the game by a convincing 50-21 final score and were helped to victory by the efforts of Amanda Dillman who had 15 points on the night. The press really accomplished its job as the Indians had issues with it all night. Stockbridge only managed to score in the single digits in all four quarters of play. The Indians were led in scoring on the night by Mel Mader who had seven points, Arissa Geiser and Ali Zahringer both chipped in five, while Brianne Hildreth and Taylor Parsons both added two. Stockbridge is scheduled to play there last regular season game against the Koehler Blue Bombers on Friday March 5th. Regional action will then start for the Indians on Tuesday March 9th as they take on Sheboygan Christian at Christian in the opening round of Division 4 action. |
