As the 2010 Badger State Summer Games wrap up, Wisconsin Sports Development is appreciative of its major sponsor, American Family Insurance.

"We are very grateful to American Family Insurance for their continued support of Badger State Games," said Perron Nicholas, director of development, Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation. "While many businesses have tightened up their sponsorships over the past few years, American Family Insurance has continued to stick by Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation. They go above and beyond just giving a dollar amount, encouraging employees to engage in the Games through participation and volunteering."

American Family Insurance is a major sponsor for the summer games, winter games and Paddle & Portage. They have been a sponsor for more than six years and have had members of their senior leadership team on Wisconsin Sports Development's board of directors for more than a decade. Al Meyer, Vice President - Life Company, currently serves as a board chair for Wisconsin Sports Development Corporation. 

"I've been involved with Badger State Games on a personal level for ten years," said Meyer. "Badger State Games is a great fit for our company, as we have employees statewide. It is a family-friendly event that we encourage our employees to get involved in."
