The Chilton 2010 volleyball team is excited for their upcoming season. The team will once again be coached by Candace Chaussee, who led the Tigers team to a 4-5 conference record last season, in which the Tigers lost several close game. Chaussee will be assisted by Colleen Diedrick, Michelle Brickl, and Lynn Woelfel.
Last year's team had some success as they took first place at the Shiocton Tourney, 2nd place in the Olympian Conference Tourney, and made it to the second round of regional action. This season team for Chilton boasts a solid group of seniors who have played together on varsity since their sophomore year and some skilled underclassman that have joined the squad. Returning letter winners to the team include: seniors-Abby Sattler setter/RS, Kelsey Hephner OH, Michelle Piepenburg MH, Brittany Mirsberger OH, Junior-Elise Calnin MH, and Sophomore-Hunter Moore setter. Other members of this season varsity team are: Ally Dawson, Celine Diedrick, Aerial Ditter, Kari Koehler, Claire Stiefvater, and Sarah Nagel. Teams to beat in the conference this season, look to be Manitowoc Lutheran and Roncalli. The Tigers opened their season with a scrimmage at New Holstein, followed by the Omro Quad. Chilton will open their regular season of play on Tuesday September 7th at home against St. Mary's Springs including Middle School Night festivities. Good luck Lady Tigers on a season filled with successes!!!
