The Chilton girls 2010 swim team is optimistic about the season that lies ahead. The Tigers will be coached again this season by Donna Koenigs and diving coaches Jim Bruckner and Kate Suttner.

In the 2009 season the Tigers finished 6th in the conference and had no state qualifiers. Not to be deterred, Coach Koenigs is optimistic about this season. In this 2010 season Chilton has returned to co-op this season with Valders after a two year hiatus. The Brillion Lions also join the co-op but with just a single swimmer, Avery Kohrell, however she hasn't received medical clearance to swim yet.

Also Koenigs is ecited about the swimming experience the freshman on her team have and their willingness to swim any event asked of them. The returning letter winners also look to have built on their times from last season. "We have a very competitive group of girls, who enjoy being back together as a co-op."

Diving is also on the rise for the co-op team, as there are four divers this season, who hope to be competing soon.

The team will continue on in their season on Tuesday September 7th with the Sheboygan South relays, September 11th with the Appleton East Pentathlon, and September 14th with a home meet against New London.

Good luck on a successful season!!!
