Members of the 2010 Hilbert Varsity Football Team include: Joey Scholz, Levi Cummings, Joe Sabel, Jake Giesen, Spencer Schulz, Tommy Sweere, Connor Nett, Braden Hemauer, Zach Woelfel, Jake Godschalx, Tyler Brickham, Trenton Stone, Mat Sheahan, Austin Schaffer, Zach Propson, Marcus Kopecky, Evan Geiser, Tanner Raddatz, Brett VanDaalwyk, Mitchell Sheahan, Kyle Thibeadeau, Lagan Carnahan, Brian Shimon, Dylan Breit, Andy Mader, Nic Kees, Cody Wilz, Date Delvaux, Jason Mathes, Bobby Zahringer, Alex Olp, Preston Schwalenberg, Erique Castro, Billy Kumbalek, and Bryse Schaffer.
The Hilbert boy's football team is hoping for a season of success in 2010 after finishing with a 3-6 conference record and not making it to the playoffs.
The Wolves will be coached once again this season by Mike Breckheimer who has an overall win-loss record of 24-10 while at the helm for Hilbert. Strengths of this season's team include overall team strength, speed, and leadership. The team does lack experience so that would be a weakness. The Conference will once again be a tough battle. Teams to beat look to be Algoma, Roncalli, and Brillion. Manitowoc Lutheran also has the potential to beat teams, and if you are not ready to play you could lose on any given night. Hilbert opened its season with a victory over the visiting Algoma Wolves by a score of 41-13 and are set to take on Roncalli away on Saturday September 4th at 1:00pm. Good luck Hilbert Football on a successful season!!!
