The Chilton/Valders/Brillion swim team swam past Green Bay Southwest at their Tuesday August 24th home meet.
The CVB team overpowered their opponent reigning victorious by a team score of 119-50. The CVB team won every individual varsity event. Event winners were as follows: 200yard Medley Relay team of Katherine Johnson, Sam Ott, Denys Koenigs, and Andrea Berger, 200yard Freestyle-Theresa Evenson, 200yard IM-Koenigs, 50yard Freestyle-Berger, 100yard Butterfly-Koenigs, 100yard Freestyle-Katrien Rogers, 500yard Freestyle-Berger, 200yard Freestyle-Johnson, 100yard Backstroke-Johnson, 100yard Breaststroke-Ott, and 400yard Freestyle Relay team of Evenson, Molly Barnes, Allison Barnes, and Berger. CVB also won the JV team portion of the meet by a team score of 73-25. Individual winner of the JV events for the CVB team were as follows: 200yard Medley Relay team of Katie Walch, Jackie Janisko, Desirae Kiesow, and Brittany Loose, 200yard Freestyle-Kalie Knutson, 50yard Freestyle-Micaella Schneider, 100yard Freestyle-Becca Schwarz, 200yard Freestyle Relay team of Maria Hostettler, Monica Grube, Schneider, and Eden Schaller, 100yard Backstroke-Nicole Hickenbotham, and the 100yard Breaststroke-Desirae Kiesow. The Chilton/Valders/Brillion swim team continues their season on Tuesday September 7th with the Sheboygan South Relays, followed by the Appleton East Pentathlon on Saturday September 11th and a dual meet against New London on Tuesday September 14th at home. |
