The Chilton Tigers Tennis team stifled Kewaunee with a 7-0 victory in their first dual match of the season.
The match was played on Monday August 23rd. Individual score were as follows: S1-Megan Fritz (C) beat Gerogie Selner (K) 6-4,6-3, S2-Briana Reilly (C) beat Alicia Siebold (K) 6-0,6-0, S3-Ashley Pagel (C) beat Alexia Brewster (K) 6-2,6-2, S4-Alyssa Kartheiser (C) beat Eliza Obry (K) 6-0,6-1, D1-Kelley Berth/Erin Hauser (C) beat Josie Hower/Amanda Kudick (K) 6-4,6-1, D2-Alex Theiler/Cecilia Stewart (C) beat Cassidy Crabb/Katelyn Hower (K) 6-3,6-0, and D3-Hannah Brandenburg/Brooklyn Biese (C) beat Amanda Vogeltanz/Sarah Peterson (K) 6-0,6-1. Chilton went on later in the week to be defeated by Two Rivers by a team score of 6-1. Individual score of the match were as follows: S1-Katie Ralph (TW) beat Megan Fritz (C) 3-6,6-2,6-2, S2-Haley Groelle (TW) beat Briana Reilly (C) 6-2,6-2, S3-Ashley Pagel (C) beat Ashley Kakuk (TW) 6-4,7-6, S4-Lindsay Fish (TW) beat Alyssa Kartheiser (C) 2-6,6-2,6-4, D1-Montana Anderson/Taylor Czekala (TW) beat Kelley Berth/Erin Hauser (C) 6-0,6-1, D2-Megan Conway/Nicole Rezachek (TW) beat Alex Theiler/Cecilia Stewart (C) 6-0,6-1, and D3-Brooke Yokiel/Kristin Heimerl (TW) beat Hannah Brandenburg/Brooklyn Biese (C) 6-4,6-2. Chilton is set to take on their next opponent, Koehler, on Tuesday August 31st away, followed by a match against Waupun also on the road on Thursday September 2nd, and a home match on Tuesday September 7th at Kiel.
