The Chilton boys cross counrty team took fifth place in their most recent running competition, the Freedom invitational help on Friday September 3rd at Irish Waters Golf Course.
Chilton placed fifth with 166 team points. Winning the invite was Freedom with 76, followed by tied for second place Gillett and Tomahawk both with 158, and fourth place Little Chute with 164. Brillion came in 16th with 418 team points. Top individual finishers for Chilton were: 12th-Jake Rollmann 17:21, 24th- James Wise 17:39, 34th-Marcus Chaussee 18:02, 37th-John Mortimer 18:09, 62nd-Zach Schmitz 18:51, 67th-Kyle Schwobe 18:58, 69th-Ryan Schmitz 19:01. Top individual finishers for Brillion were: 52nd-Ryan Geiger 18:37, 75th-Jacob Wittmann 19;12, 96th-Alex Struebing 19:55, 97th-Brock Kasten 19:57, 98th-Jackson Brice 19:58, 100th-Adam Balthazor 20:05, and 112th-Gabe Michaels 20:50. The Chilton junior varsity team placed third at the invite with 68 team points. Top individual finishers for Chilton were: 4th-Jediah Barrett 19:10, 13th-Phil Buelow 19:38, 14th-Marcus Wise 19:38, 18th-Brandon Knaus 19:44, Jacob Konen 19:45, 29th-Chase Owens 20:33, 36th-Matt Buhl 20:58. The Brillion junior varsity team placed 12th in the team standings with 364 team points. Top individual finishers for Brillion were:66th-Jared Kasten 22:43, 71st-Brent Levash 23:14, 74th-Andrew Stoegbauer 23:54, 75th-Patrick Cooney 23:54, 78th-Matthew Stoegbauer 24:33, 80th-Brady Thiel 25:19, and 81st-Jacob Haen 25:27. Chilton will continue there season on Friday September 10th at the Chilton Invitational at Hickory Hills Golf Course. Brillion will compete in the Shawano Invite on Saturday September 11th. |
