The Stockbridge girl's volleyball team is optimistic about the upcoming 2010 season. This season team will be coached by first year coach Jackie Propson. Propson will be assisted by the junior varsity coach Nicole Meyers.

Last season the Indians had a tough go of it. They had just one win on the season and are hoping to improve on that record this season.

This years Indian's team does have some returning letter winners and some girls that have junior varsity experience including six seniors, one junior, and three sophomores. There is also a senior transfer student.

The Stockbridge team is hoping to be competitive in the Central Lakeshore Conference. They work well together as a team, have a positive attitude, and are coming along very nicely according to coach Propson.

The team has been working diligently on their offense and defense to close the gaps.

The Indians have won their first round of regionals for four of the last five years and the main goal of this season's team is to make it farther in the playoffs than they did last season.

Members of this season's team include: Seniors-Natalie Krueger, Melissa Mader, Katelynn Blodgett, Melissa Zimmerman, Jessica Mader, Michele Mader, and Molly Stephany, Junior-Miranda Dupont, Sophomores-Kati Zahringer, Jeana Campbell, and Arissa Geiser.

Stockbridge opened their season on September 2nd with loss to a tough Koehler team. They will continue their season on Tuesday September 7th with a home game against Sevestopol, Thursday September 9th with another home game against Ozaukee, and Saturday September 11th with the Shiocton Tournament.
