Lady Tigers Champs at Freedom Invite PDF Print E-mail

The Chilton Tigers girls cross country team recently earned the championship at the Freedom Invitational that was held at Irish Waters Golf Course on Friday September 3rd.

Chilton won the championship with 59 team points. New London came in second with 143, followed by Freedom in third with 151. Brillion placed ninth at the invite with 257 team points.

Top individual finishers for the Tigers were: in 1st-Kristen Linzmeier 14:59, 6th- Erika Owens 15:55, 10th-Ali Richman 16:15, 15th-Chelsea Kilgas 16:33, 27th-Kayla Lisowe 16:48, 31st- Amber Schmitz 16:51, and 43rd-Kara Linzmeier 17:03.

Top individual finishers for the Brillion Lions were: 16th-Monique Levash 16:34, 17th-Dani Behnke 16:36, 22nd-Monica Geiser 16:43, 85th-Jessica Wittmann 18:28, 117th-Meghan Haese 19:38, 127th-Erin Mangin 20:12, and 133rd-Melissa Brandes 20:41.

In the junior varsity portion of the meet, Brillion placed 9th with a team score of 222, while Chilton had an incomplete team.

Top individual finishes for the Lions were: 31st-Cassandra Zenner 20:04, 42nd-Carlie Mathiebe 20:38, 48th-Kayla Woldt 21:03, 50th-Kelsey Muehlbauer 21:10, 51st-Abby Kubichek 21:12, 55th Jacki Hehnke 21:26, and 60th-Kelsey Madison 22:04.

Top individual finishes for Chilton were: 4th-Megan Breckheimer 18:07, 17th-Brandi Jo Bonnin 19:08, and 19th-Brooke Koslowski 19:17.

Chilton will continue there season on Friday September 10th at the Chilton Invitational at Hickory Hills Golf Course. Brillion will compete in the Shawano Invite on Saturday September 11th.
