A few Chilton area athletes recently competed in the district 2 Hershey Track meet. 

At the district meet, first place finishers go on to compete at the state meet for a chance to compete at the national meet in Hershey Pennsylvania.  

    Chilton athletes placed as follows:  Girls 9 & 10, 4x100m relay team of Alyssa Frank, Elizabeth Hertel, Courtney Beil, and Alexis Behnke, 1st place in a time of 1:12.56, Boys 9 & 10, 400m run-Nathan Schmitz, 1st place in a time of 1:15.22, 4x100m relay team of John Paul McAllister, Dominic Steiner, Abraham Sell, and Nathan Schmitz, 1st place in a time of 1:07.94, Softball throw-Jacob Fritz placed 1st with a toss of 105'7", Girls 11 & 12, 4x100m relay team of Sydney Hephner, Samantha Casper, Danielle Breckheimer, and Emily Stiefvater placed 2nd with a  time of 1:04.70, Boys 11 & 12, Standing Long Jump-Duncan Calnin placed 1st with a leap of 7'3", Girls 13 & 14, 4x100m relay team of Rachel Beil, Kayla Lisowe, Megan Breckheimer, and Alexandria Calnin placed 1st in a time of 55.35, Boys 13 & 14, 4x100m relay team of Mitchell Fucile, Nic Adkins, Vince Propson, and Marcus Wise placed 2nd in a time of 54.31, Standing Long Jump-Mitchell Fucile placed 2nd with a leap of 8'5", and Softball Throw-Mitchell Fucile-placed 1st with a toss of 212'8".  

    So moving on to the state meet for Chilton will be:  Girls 9 & 10, 4x100m relay team of Alyssa Frank, Elizabeth Hertel, Courtney Beil, and Alexis Behnke, Boys 9 & 10, 400m run-Nathan Schmitz, 4x100m relay team of John Paul McAllister, Dominic Steiner, Abraham Sell, and Nathan Schmitz, and in the Softball throw-Jacob Fritz, Boys 11 & 12, in the Standing Long Jump-Duncan Calnin, Girls 13 & 14, 4x100m relay team of Rachel Beil, Kayla Lisowe, Megan Breckheimer, and Alexandria Calnin, and Boys 13 & 14, Softball Throw-Mitchell Fucile.
